We currently have a full-time ( 40 hours a week ) gardening position available based in and around the Meon Valley area going down to Warsash.

Ideally, We are after someone with a level 2 NVQ in Horticulture and outdoor experience in gardening and groundsman roles. 

​

We are after someone willing to work hard, is a great team player, is enthusiastic, has great attention to detail, and has a real passion for gardening and being out in all weather.

 

We are after someone who can bring new ideas and new skill sets to Bloomsford and help make our clients' gardens even more beautiful.

 

We also would need someone who can drive and has a car, but most of the time you would be driven to the client's gardens. Also for the right candidate, you could be given one of our work vehicles to drive to and from clients gardens.

This is a long-term role.

​

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:​

​

• Weeding

• Hedge cutting

• Topiary work

• Some soft landscaping

• Vegetable production

• General garden maintenance

• Grass cutting

• General groundsman roles.

• Lawn work - seeding, and turfing

• Edging

• Planting

• Pruning

• Maintenance of gardening and grounds equipment as required

• Any other duties as required

Job Type: Full-time

Qualifications:

• Level 2 NVQ in Horticulture (Preferred)

• A PA1/PA6 spraying licence (Preferred)

• Applicant must hold a current driving licence and be 25 or over  (Essential)

Experience:

• Garden Maintenance: 3 years (Essential)

​

Licence:

• PA1 and PA6 (Preferred)

• Driving License (Essential)

• Chainsaw License (Preferred)
